How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
Every homeowner who reaches Generalshift Roofing should be treated fairly and honestly. If that did not happen, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Generalshift Roofing
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
- How a provider we connected you with behaved
When the Issue Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one answers for its own estimates, prices, work, warranties, and customer service. If you have a problem with work on your home, start by taking it up with the provider. Keep a written record.
Please still tell us. Your feedback helps keep our network honest. A provider that keeps falling short of what we expect may be removed. Note that Generalshift Roofing cannot settle contract disputes. We cannot refund money for a provider's work. We cannot make choices for a provider.
How to File
Email contact@generalshift.garden. Please include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The number you called or the form you used, if you recall
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what you want from us
After You Write
We will confirm we got your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened. That may mean contacting the provider. Then we will answer with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
You can reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office, your state attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. If the provider is licensed, your state's contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
